2.9 Synopsis table
In the following tables the registration number is entered
in the position of the code table corresponding to the Final byte of the
allocated escape sequence.
Position 7/14 is reserved for escape sequences identifying an empty set.
These positions shall not be used
Column 2 is reserved for Intermediate bytes
Column 3 is reserved for private use
Note 1
Bit combination 5/7 of table 3 will not be allocated
in order to avoid problems with an earlier usage by CCITT.
Note 2
Bit combination 7/0 will not be allocated in order
to avoid confusion with the coding of the Picture Coding Delimiter (PCD)
specified in ISO 9281-1.
