Introductory note

CD Registration and CD Consideration
In accordance with Resolution 12.1.2 taken at the 87th SC 29/WG 11 meeting, 2009-02-02/06, Lausanne, Switzerland, WG 11 requested "change of title to ISO/IEC 29116-1 [2nd Edition]" (ref. SC 29 N 10084).
In accordance with Resolution 12.1.1 taken at the 87th SC 29/WG 11 meeting, 2009-02-02/06, Lausanne, Switzerland (ref. SC 29 N 10063), the SC 29 Secretariat issued the combined CD registration and CD consideration ballot (closing date: 2009-06-23). The result of the ballot on the CD registration is: Approval (15), Disapproval (0), Abstention (5), no vote (4), and CD consideration: Approval (15), Disapproval (0), Abstention (5), no vote (4) (ref. SC 29 N 10457). The Disposition of Comments report is in SC 29 N 10645.

FCD
In accordance with Resolution 9.5.1 taken at the 89th SC 29/WG 11 meeting, 2009-06-29/07-03, London, UK (ref. SC 29 N 10533), ISO/IEC CD 29116-1 2nd Edition, MPEG extensible middleware (MXM) protocols, was moved to a new part of ISO/IEC 23006 (ISO/IEC 23006-4). The SC 29 Secretariat circulated the accompanying text for FCD ballot.
