Dear Lisa,

Could you please inform me of the result of JTC 1's consideration at the previous JTC 1 plenary meeting in Ottawa, Canada, in regard to the cancellation of SC 29 projects?

As you know, in accordance with Item 8.5 of Resolution 8 taken at the ninth JTC 1 plenary meeting, 1996-12-10/13, Paris, France (Ref. JTC 1 N 4474), SC 29 submitted to JTC 1 SC 29's report on Validity of Continuing MHEG Work (JTC 1 N 4948) in time for the Ottawa plenary meeting.

I would like to know the course of action to be taken before the upcoming SC 29 plenary meeting, 1997-11-17/19, Sydney, Australia.
