Recommendations of March 2009 Meeting of WG3

2. WG3 Resolutions on Editors
- WG 3 regretfully accepts the resignation of Robert Barta as a
co-editor of ISO/IEC 18048 (TMQL).
3. WG3 Resolutions on Projects
- 13250-7 - Topic Maps - Graphical Notation. Since the main editor
on this project is still ill, WG3 asks for a 6 month extension to
the project deadlines.
- 18048 - Topic Maps - Query Language (TMQL). WG3 instructs the
editors to prepare a disposition of comments on the FCD ballot as
soon as possible. WG3 recommends that 18048 go through a second FCD
draft, and instructs the editors to prepare the new FCD text by
2010-06.
- 19756 - Topic Maps - Constraint language (TMCL). WG3 instructs the
editors to prepare a disposition of comments on the FCD ballot as
soon as possible. WG3 recommends that TMCL go through a second FCD
draft, and asks for a 12 month delay for this draft. The reason for
the delay is the delay of TMQL, which is used to define TMCL. WG3
instructs the editors to prepare the new FCD text by 2010-06.
- 29111 - Topic Maps - Expressing Dublin Core Metadata using Topic
Maps. WG3 instructs the editor to prepare a disposition of comments
on the PDTR draft as soon as possible. WG3 requests a 12-month
extension to the deadline, because of the resignation of the main
editor, and difficulties in finding a replacement editor. WG3
recommends that 29111 go through another PDTR, and instructs the
editor to prepare a new PDTR text by 2010-03. The secretariat can
expect the DTR text by 2011-03.
4. Resolution of Appreciation for Hosting
WG3 expresses its appreciation to the Czech National Body for
the excellent meeting facilities for the WG3 meetings in Prague.
5. Resolution of Appreciation for Catering
WG3 expresses its appreciation to Microsoft for the social event on
the Wednesday evening at Hotel Opera.
6. Resolution of Appreciation for Catering
WG3 expresses its appreciation to Beijing Sursen Co. for the lunch on
Thursday at Hotel Imperial.
