Resolution Prague 09-01: Subdivision of Project

WG 4 recommends that SC 34 approve the following project subdivisions:

1) JTC 1.34.29500.01.01 -

Title: ISO/IEC 29500-1, Office Open XML File Formats, Part 1, Fundamentals and Markup Language Reference – Amendment 1

Scope: Minor improvements to various clauses and schemas in Part 1.

Rationale: A number of Defects Reports were submitted for Part 1 that SC34/WG4 members felt were inappropriate for resolution via a COR. Specifically, their resolutions required minor changes in functionality rather than the correction of errors.

Timetable: FPDAM: 2009-08, FDAM: 2010-01

2) JTC 1.34.29500.02.01

Title: ISO/IEC 29500-2, Office Open XML File Formats, Part 2: Open Packaging Conventions – Amendment 1

Scope: Minor improvements to various clauses and schemas in Part 2.

Rationale: A number of Defects Reports were submitted for Part 1 that SC34/WG4 members felt were inappropriate for resolution via a COR. Specifically, their resolutions required minor changes in functionality rather than the correction of errors.

Title: ISO/IEC 29500-4, Office Open XML File Formats, Part 4 : Transitional Migration Features – Amendment 1

Scope: Minor improvements to various clauses and schemas in Part 4.

Rationale: A number of Defects Reports were submitted for Part 1 that SC34/WG4 members felt were inappropriate for resolution via a COR. Specifically, their resolutions required minor changes in functionality rather than the correction of errors.
