STATUS In accordance with Resolution 2-a of the SC 34 Prague plenary meeting, SC 34 has created Ad hoc group 3 on Maintenance of ISO/IEC 26300. SC 34 National bodies and Liaison Organizations are invited to nominate participants in this ad hoc group.

1) Please send a list of participants showing the names and e-mail addresses to the SC 34 Secretariat by 2009-08-17. An e-mail mailing list will be set up.

2) Please send a delegates list for the AHG 3 Seattle meeting to the SC 34 Secretariat by 2009-08-17 (Registration form is available as N 1220).

3) SC 34 national bodies are invited to answer the questions on national adoption of the ODF specifications in Attachment A by 2009-08-17.

Resolution 2-a: Establishment of Ad Hoc Group 3 on Maintenance of ISO/IEC 26300

SC 34 establishes its ad hoc group on Maintenance of ISO/IEC 26300 with the following terms of reference:

- to develop a long term plan for maintenance of ISO/IEC 26300 in coordination with OASIS and to present the proposed plan and any other recommendations to the SC 34 Plenary following the next JTC 1 Plenary

- to coordinate all activities relating to the maintenance of ISO/IEC 26300 within SC 34, according to whatever detailed procedures OASIS and JTC 1 may agree, until such time as a long term plan is ready to be implemented, when this Ad Hoc Group would be dissolved.


SC 34 appoints Mr. Francis Cave (GB) as the Convener of this ad hoc group.

(The Convener will have submitted a paper on this, as requested by the Prague Plenary)

5. Review of technical work programme on ODF maintenance

5.1 Processing of Defect Reports

5.2 Preparation of Technical Corrigenda, Amendments (if any)

5.3 Technical contributions to future revisions of ISO/IEC 26300

6. Preparation of Recommendations to the SC 34 Plenary

7. Any other business
