WG5 Recommendations

1. Approval of SC 34 to initiate a PDTR ballot for "ISO/IEC PDTR 29166 OpenDocument Format - Office Open translation - Guidelines":

SC 34 instructs its Secretariat to initiate a three-month PDTR ballot when text is submitted by the Project Editors

2. WG 5 notes the effort of Korea to develop ideas for a new project for "A Reference Model for Identification and Description of Document

Fragments". WG 5 recommends that a Study Period be initiated with the aim of defining the scope of such a new project, with a report to be made

available in time for discussion at the next WG 5 meeting in Beijing, China, 2010-12-09/10. WG 5 invites all SC 34 members to nominate experts to

participate in this Study Period, and requests the SC 34 Secretariat to issue an invitation to participate.

3. Future meetings:

- WG 5 will have a meeting in Beijing on Friday, December 10, from 9:00 to 18:00.
